Bourjois Radiance collection: City Radiance foundation and Radiance Reveal concealer

Hey guys!

I hope you are well and had a lovely Easter!

I am back with more make up products. So it's been a while since Bourjois released the Radiance collection foundation and concelear. I like few Bourjois products, the 123 Perfect foundation used to be my 'go to' product for a while, you can read my review here. I have been testing City Radiance foundation and Radiance Reveal concealer for a while now, so I am confident to write this review.

Let's start off with City Radiance foundation. I saw so many good reviews about this one and the description sounds very promising:

''City Radiance foundation contains SPF 30 and has an anti-pollution screen that reduces the presence of carbon particles on the skin, resulting in a fresh and luminous complexion. The formula hydrates for 24 hours and gives a light to medium coverage.''

It's all about that glow, right? This foundation sounds to be perfect for summer, because we all want that radiant skin. Now, I don't want to kill that good vibe that has been going around about this product, but I absolutely hated this foundation. Sorry Bourjois. As I've mentioned in many previous posts I have oily/combination skin and if you have it too - STAY AWAY from this product. Unless you want to end up like a grease ball.
At first, when I applied it everything looked nice and fresh - light to medium coverage, natural and awake looking skin. Beautiful. But 2-3 hours later I looked in the mirror and I was shocked. My face has never looked so oily! Normally, after applying my foundation I set everything with RCMA No Colour powder (review here) and my make up lasts me all day, but after wearing this foundation I looked like a disaster. This foundation, literally, melted of my face. It creased like a motherf*****! I don't like to sound very negative, but if I am honest it is probably the worst thing I've ever put on my face... I must say, this probably would work perfectly with dry skin. It has SPF 30 which is the only thing I liked about this foundation, unfortunately...

Next, let's talk about Radiance Reveal concealer. Thankfully, I can say a lot better things about this one. What Bourjois says about it:

''It conceals imperfections, dark circles and puffiness for a fresh and radiant look. An instant skincare action: enriched with Mont Blanc glacier water & hyaluronic acid, it visibly smoothes away wrinkles and fine lines and hydrates the under eye area for up to 24 hours. Its plus: a melting texture for a fresh feel!''

Since, I started with negative thoughts I want to end it up with a positive ones. 'Coz we love good vibes, don't we? I love this concealer and this product made it to my favourite concealers list!

This bad boy does everything what it says in the description. Conceals dark circles, reduces visibility of fine lines and it makes my under eye area look fresh and glowy (not greasy!). Concealer does not crease, but you need to set it with the powder. It's light creamy texture makes it very easy to blend and it stays put all day long. I purchased the lightest shade 01 Ivory and I absolutely love how well it brightens up my under eye area making me look like I had the best night sleep ever. Concealer looks amazing in photographs and does not emphasize your pores. It comes in a very nice kind of matte glass packaging with silver lid. I think it looks very sleek and glamorous. Both, foundation and concealer, has very nice floral scent which is quite strong, but not too overpowering. It does go away when you apply the product.

Overall, the foundation was a big NO NO for me, I don't want to offend anyone as it's only my opinion and maybe it would work for other people. I can definitely recommend the concealer and I will be repurchasing it because mine nearly hit the bottom (which never happens). Let me know your thoughts if you've tried both of these products!

Lots of love,
Indre xoxo
