What to watch on Netflix

If you ask me to describe my perfect night in, my answer would be junk food, blanket and Netflix. Obviously. But I'm pretty sure, most of you would say the same. Is there anything else to do out there? I think our generation became so dependant on Netflix, that most of us don't know what to do with our lives when we finish watching the last episode of our favourite show.
I could literally spend hours shuffling through the selection of movies, shows and documentaries an never get bored. Don't judge me, because I know you've done it too! We're all guilty here... Ok, enough rambling, let me share my list of what I have watched or currently watching on Netflix.

Dont trust the B- in the apartment 23
June moves to New York City to pursue her dream job at a mortgage company, which comes with its own apartment. However, the company is shut down on her first day and the apartment is taken away. June moves in with Chloe, who is a con-artist and all-round party girl. At first, they don't get along. When Chloe's attempts to con June backfire, they end up becoming friends.
I think  the show is quirky and sexy, perfect to watch with your girlfriends or just on your own to have a good laugh. It kind of reminds me of 'Friends' in some way, New York lifestyle, coffee and the crazy things that could only happen in NY city!

Jane the virgin

Jane is a religious young Latina who is a waitress in a hotel in Miami. Her life takes a big turn for the unexpected when her doctor (Dr. Luisa Alver) mistakenly artificially inseminates her during her checkup. Jane's mother Xiomara, who became pregnant with Jane at a very young age, is scared that Jane will be destroying her life by deciding to bring the baby to full term, while Jane's traditional religious Latina grandmother, Alba, encourages Jane to do what she chooses. The biological father is a married man named Rafeal Solano, who is a cancer survivor and a former playboy.
Lough out loud moments guaranteed whilst watching it. It's very much like 'modern soap' with sad, funny and silly moments and I found it very relaxing to watch.

Unbreakable Kimmy Shmidt
After being rescued from an underground bunker in which she lived the past 15 years, Kimmy Schmidt decides to move to New York to have a normal life. She makes friends with her new roommate Titus, and works as a babysitter for Jacqueline Voorhees, the wife of a billionaire with many issues. Even though many obstacles are thrown her way, Kimmy makes the best of her new life while having to adapt to the new world around her.
Gosh, how much I loved this one! It was so easy to watch and so damn funny too. Definitely one of my favourite ones. Planning to start watching it again!

After the death of one of the rich and popular Blossom twins on the 4th of July, the small town of Riverdale investigates the murder. The series starts in September, the beginning of a new school year, that brings with it new students, relationships, and reveals the mysteries of the past 4th of July./
Ok, I know 99.99% of you probably already seen it. But c'mon, how good it is?! The mystery and drama just never ends.

The confession tapes
A critical look into some true crime cases where American law enforcement made up for lack of actual physical evidence by using devious psychological tactics during interrogation in order to extract confessions from naive suspects.
This one is a bit different because each episode tells different story about different cases. I'm a huge fan of investigation and crime shows and if you are someone like me then it's a must watch!

13 reasons why
Thirteen Reasons Why, based on the best-selling books by Jay Asher, follows teenager Clay Jensen as he returns home from school to find a mysterious box with his name on it lying on his porch. Inside he discovers a group of cassette tapes recorded by Hannah Baker-his classmate and crush-who tragically committed suicide two weeks earlier. On tape, Hannah unfolds an emotional audio diary, detailing the thirteen reasons why she decided to end her life. Through Hannah and Clay's dual narratives, Thirteen Reasons Why weaves an intricate and heartrending story of confusion and desperation that will deeply affect viewers.
Probably one of the most popular series this year. If you haven't seen it yet, then you must watch it. It really touched me and left me thinking.

Orange is the new black
Convicted of a decade old crime of transporting drug money to an ex-girlfriend, normally law abiding Piper Chapman is sentenced to a year and a half behind bars to face the reality of how life changing prison can really be.
My favourite series of all time! It tells an interesting story not only from the main character's perspective but from the other inmates as well.

So here it is-my Netflix suggestion list. I hope you found something you haven't seen yet and would be interested to watch. I would love if you could leave your recommendations/favourite things to watch on Netflix. Long and cold evenings already here so I need to start making a new list!
